Big Hits of Mid-America: The Vaporwave Volume follows in the long running tradition of the "Big Hits of Mid-America" compilation series from the 60's and 80's, highlighting the most exciting underground acts from Minneapolis and the midwest. Our comp brings it to the present day with the deep and diverse talent that our city and our area continues to offer, and the incredible art being brought to the vaporwave and electronic music communities.
This compilation features a wide range of sounds and styles, and features everyone from established influential artists, to big up and comers, to total unknowns. We hope you enjoy this look into our scene and where we come from.
